Vietnam ’s Record Book Centre (Vietkings) has granted certificates to 32 record holders at a ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on March 27. The records were chosen from almost 300 submissions sent by organisations and individuals across the country in 2009. Of these, 20 records were set by individuals, mainly related to the arts, culture and creativeness.Among the individual records features master Nguyen Van Chieu, as the World’s highest ranked Vovinam master (after the spiritual Grand master Le Sang). This is in recognition of master Chieu’s outstanding contribution to the development of Vovinam in the World.

The Vovinam Championship of Hochiminh city 2010 was hold on March 19th - 22nd in Phan Dinh Phung stadium (district 3) with the participation of 373 athletes (123 female) of 20 districts of Hochiminh City.
There were :
- 23 fighting categories (male & female) with 234 fights.
- 14 technical categories (male & female) with 84 performances (arm and weapon).

The Pupils Vovinam Championship of Hochiminh city 2010 will be held from March 2nd to March 6th at the Sports Center of District 8 - Hochiminh City with the participation of 610 athletes (370 male and 240 female) of over 60 schools of 20 districts of Hochiminh City.
There are :
163 atheles from primary schools (6-10 yrs old)
259 athletes from intermediary schools (11- 14 yrs old)
181 athletes from secondary schools ( 15-17 yrs old)
61 fighting categories (male+ female) with 468 fights.
12 technical categories (male+ female) with 88 performances.
The athlele who gets 1st, 2nd or 3rd place will receive medal + certificate + money + some additional points at their final ...

Notre représentant national pour la Belgique, l'Association de Vovinam Vietvodao Belge Francophone, a annoncé que le championnat national de Belgique aura lieu le 1 Mai 2010 à la salle du hall omnisports de la ville d'Awans.
Les championnats débuteront dès le matin, à 9:00, avec les compétitions techniques, auxquelles suivront les combats dans l'après-midi. Plus de 80 compétiteurs sont attendus.
