2010 Asian Vovinam Championships in INDIA

Mister Vishnu Sahai, President of the National Vovinam Association of India, informed us that the next Asian Vovinam Championships will be held in India in 2010.

In fact, it will be the first Asian Vovinam Championships since the Asian Vovinam Federation was only founded recently in Iran.

As we informed you several times, India has shown a very high potential for Vovinam development nationwide.

The Vovinam Asian Federation delegation, endorsed by the WVVF, will soon visit the Indian sports installations in West Bengal.

Following Master Patrick Levet's National Seminar last year, a Vietnamese Vovinam team will be in India next June to continue the training and preparation of the National Vovinam Team of India.

The first goal will be to participate in the next World Championship as a preparation for the Asia Indoor Games that will be held in Vietnam in November 2009.
